As far as I can tell they don't as I defeated the enemy lord and then had to fight his one invincible aircraft again, BUT this time I noticed there's actually a message on the pre-battle screen that says if the enemy only has aircraft you need to order you men to attack without you. Definitely the most amazing thing I've seen in any M&B mod yet.Įdit2: Tried to see if having fighters would do anything, so I cheated and bought some.
but you can't, so you're stuck with a situation where even though you win, you lose, cause you get no loot, no prisoners and all of their wounded get to ride away under the protection of their immortal bomber.Įdit: I should say, I was a bit salty when I wrote this, and that just seeing the aircraft flying around and the artillery shells coming in makes this a mod worth trying. Battle Won! but not really, cause you have to fight the fighter and the bomber.
That was cool until I had only their fighter and bomber left to deal with. Gave up on that and fought another small party with actual infantry. So even though you technically win as soon as you load in, you still have to fight them again. Killed the guy, battle won! But no, you have to fight the bomber, but you can't fight the bomber without a fighter I'm guessing. most of them were wounded, so it was my party against 1 guy and a bomber. Shot the shit out of some bandits for a bit, then signed on with the Nords to fight the Swadians, then chased down a small Swadian party. I gave up on that and formed a mercenary company.
Made a boat load of cash just sitting around in town doing nothing. i've enlisted in in the armies of several lords from each of the Swadians, Nords and Rhodoks and they never did anything.
